Burkettsville is a village in Darke and Mercer counties in the U.S. state of Ohio. The population was 272 at the 2020 census. Burkettsville had its start when the railroad was extended to that point. The town site was platted in 1876. A post office was established at Burkettsville in 1881, and remained in operation until 1914.
