Uji River ran along the center of city with many tea houses by the riverside. It was one of tourist attraction and recommended to have green tea tasting at one of the shops along the shopping street. Full review by YTCHENG

The river looks great in november with all the maple leaves turning red. Walk along the main street selling the famous tea and down to the river. Several original japanese restaurants overlooking theā¦ Full review by leanneandtony

Not seen anything like that. But it's a long River in sure bridge work and maintenance is not unusual.... But not at any scenic place from where I've seen the river.
