The Raiders announced on Monday that, in order to make room for some new talent, they have cut Kristian Wilkerson and Tyreik McAllister. Wilkerson was brought in by the Raiders during the Josh McDaniels era. He was able to survive the regime change last season. He played in three games and caught two passes for 18 yards.

Burney, added in the 2023 NFL Draft, spent two seasons with the Silver and Black. On 190 career defensive snaps, the Florida alum has accumulated 32 tackles with three behind the line of scrimmage and one being a sack, along with one forced fumble this past season.

Jim Harbaugh and the Chargers are still crafting the best-possible 90-man roster ahead of training camp. At linebacker, Mauga reinforces the depth behind names like Daiyan Henley, Junior Colson and the returning Denzel Perryman.

Tennessee made a number of roster moves on Tuesday. The team announced that they've signed defensive lineman Carlos Watkins. They also were awarded linebacker Amari Burney from the waiver wire after he was waived by the Las Vegas Raiders earlier in the week.

The Tennessee Titans continue to add veterans to the roster in this wave of free agency as they continue to add competition to different personnel groups. On Tuesday, they added three of the thinnest positions left on the roster by agreeing to terms with veteran cornerback Amani Oruwariye and defensive tackle Carlos Watkins to one-year contracts and claiming linebacker Amari Burney off waivers from the Las Vegas Raiders.
