Typically, most UFC pay-per-view main events are over by 6am, with the usual start time for headlining contests coming at 5am. However, because UFC 320 features two title fights, Ankalaev vs Pereira 2 is set to start later than fans have become used to.
Tom Aspinall recently told TNT Sports that Alex Pereira was given matchups that “were quite favorable” until he had to defend his belt against Magomed Ankalaev earlier this year. “Poatan” doesn’t agree with the UFC heavyweight champion’s assessment.
However, moments before their interview this time around, Cormier asked Pereira for a truce, to which the Brazilian hilariously rejected it and threw a head kick towards the defenseless legend. “Truce, this guy, truce, no more jokes, everything even, all even,” Cormier pleaded with Pereira as he hid behind his coach.
Avenging a previous loss to Magomed Ankalaev in the UFC 320 headliner would be significant, Alex Pereira won’t deny that much.
