PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — A shooter dressed in black killed at least two people and wounded nine others at Brown University on Saturday during final exams on the Ivy League campus, authorities said, and police were searching for the suspect.
Brown University is on lockdown after reports of an active shooter near the Barus and Holley Engineering building on Thayer Street. As of 8 p.m., police continue to look for the shooter. At least two people have been reporter dead and another 8 wounded,
"I have been briefed on the shooting the took place at Brown University in Rhode Island. The FBI is on the scene," President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social. "God bless the victims and the families of the victims.
