NEW YORK (WABC) -- The Powerball jackpot has surged to its biggest amount this year, reaching an estimated $643 million for Monday night's drawing. The jackpot has not been won since May 31, 2025. Since then, there have been 34 consecutive drawings without a grand prize winner.
More than 1 million other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $150,000, the lottery said.
The Powerball jackpot surged to its biggest amount of the year, reaching an estimated $605 million ahead of Monday night’s drawing. The pot grew after nobody won all six numbers from Saturday night’s drawing. The white balls were 23, 40, 49, 65 and 69. The red Powerball was 23.
