Chelsea confident of signing Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho as Blues accelerate transfer plans
Standard Sport understands Chelsea wish to sign both players this summer and are working on securing player sales, which would accelerate the arrival of RB Leipzig’s Simons and Manchester United’s Garnacho. Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson are two players who will leave if suitable exits can be resolved.
RB Leipzig have sent a clear message to Chelsea, warning that offers for Xavi Simons will not be entertained if they don't make economic sense.
However, The Guardian reports that Chelsa are waiting to sell Nkunku before accelerating talks with both of the aforementioned stars. Bayern Munich were previously pushing to strike a deal for the 27-year-old, and they tabled a loan offer with an option to buy last weekend.

Football365 on MSNChelsea: Decision made after Blues ‘whopping offer’ as Romano reveals Garnacho, Simons ‘reality’
Chelsea have failed with a 'whopping offer', while they face a bleak 'reality' regarding Alejandro Garnacho and Xavi Simons. 👀
Chelsea will reportedly focus on a deal to sign Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa if they are unable to complete a transfer for Xavi Simons. The Blues have agreed personal terms with RB Leipzig star Simons and the Netherlands international is thought to be keen on a move to west London.
Garnacho is free to leave Manchester United if the price is right, and both he and Simons have made it very clear to their respective clubs that Chelsea is the only move they want. Chelsea are said to be “intent on not overspending on Garnacho” because they know that Simons is going to be a very major outlay.
Chelsea will soon submit a formal bid to RB Leipzig after reportedly reaching a personal agreement with the Netherlands international.
