Mike Woodson, who spent the past four years coaching Indiana, has agreed to join Doug Christie's Kings staff as associate head coach, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

After 29 seasons leading the San Antonio Spurs, Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Gregg Popovich is stepping away from coaching and moving into the Spurs front office as president of basketball operations.

Multiple sources told KCRA 3's Sean Cunningham that both Woodson and Jackson will join the coaching staff of Doug Christie, who recently signed a multi-year deal with the Kings to be their next head coach. Those sources spoke on the condition of anonymity because the hiring of assistant coaches was not yet official.
