It's almost time to illuminate Pittsburgh's skyline with Fourth of July fireworks. Independence Day is coming up and there are several places to celebrate around western Pennsylvania. Firework celebrations,

The city is focusing on safety ahead of the celebration. The main event on the North Shore Great Lawn will be fenced in with three entrances and two exits, Pittsburgh police Cmdr. Shawn Malloy said.

Pittsburgh’s Fourth of July celebration will look a little different this year. Because of ongoing construction by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources at Point State Park, there won’t be any programming there,
