King says she took comfort in her friend's assurance that she'd be okay, because "Oprah knows things." Oprah Winfrey was in tears watching her longtime friend Gayle King launch into space as part of a recent all-female Blue Origin expedition.

At the Time 100 Gala, King told The Hollywood Reporter she "felt safe" in space and isn't ruling out the opportunity to return, although she thinks it won't be "anytime soon."
