President Donald Trump on Sunday announced he was cutting all federal funding to Colombia amid a deepening row between the right-wing populist American leader and socialist President Gustavo Petro.

Mr. Trump said on Sunday that he was withdrawing aid to Colombia after Mr. Petro accused the United States of killing a fisherman in a strike on a boat last month. The American authorities have claimed the boat was carrying illicit drugs.
