Dame Patricia Routledge, the beloved British actress known for her work as Hyacinth Bucket in the '90s sitcom Keeping Up Appearances, has died. She was 96.

The actress Patricia Routledge, best known for her starring role in the TV comedy series Keeping Up Appearances, has died aged 96, her agent has said.

To mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, Patricia appeared on BBC to talk about her memories of the war as a child living in Liverpool.
