Instead, Sunday’s finale ended in a three-game sweep — and a relatively convincing one, at that.
Earlier in the week, manager Dave Roberts issued a warning to outfielder Michael Conforto, who has been a bust for the Dodgers after joining the team this past winter. Conforto has a brutal .191 batting average on the year, which would easily mark a career low.
