Nick Saban is widely regarded as the greatest coach in college football history. With an impressive record of 297-71-1, Saban's coaching career includes tenures at Toledo, Michigan State, LSU and Alabama.
As part of the 2009 sanctions, Alabama had to vacate 21 football victories from 2005-2007 in which any of the seven players participated. Alabama lost its appeal of the penalties. Five of those victories came in 2007, Nick Saban’s first season as the Crimson Tide’s head coach.
A month ago, Crimson Tide fans sounded to be about done with Kalen DeBoer, with some even suggesting it was time to check in on Nick Saban. Instead, with his successor having turned the tide the past three weeks,
ESPN’s “College GameDay” is heading to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Saturday morning to preview the 3:30 p.m. EST kickoff between the No. 16 Vanderbilt Commodores and the No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide.
