Snow is likely tomorrow as the system tracks through. Lake effect snow off of Lake Huron and Lake Erie could generate snow squalls. Locally over 3 inches of snow is possible where squalls persist. It turns blustery by afternoon with a northwest wind at 10-20 mph. Plan on travel impacts through the day. High temperatures around 20 degrees.

Following heavy rain and flooding over the weekend, the Storm Team 6 predicts snow Wednesday. The system will likely impact travel. The areas with the best chance of seeing 1″+ of snow will be north of I-40.

Feels-like temperatures tumble back down to the single digits overnight and it will remain very cold most of the workweek. It will be "too cold to snow" once again later this week.

D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, there’s a chance you’ll be seeing and dealing with some snow this week. The National Weather Service (NWS) said there’s a chance that winter weather will move into the region on Wednesday and a chance remaining in the forecast into Thursday.
