MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. (WNCN) — As the chances grow for a winter storm hitting North Carolina this weekend, the Outer Banks and other coastal communities could be dealing with a blizzard — along with flooding.
A number of power outages were reported in Aiken County this morning in the midst of an ice storm watch in east central Georgia and central South Carolina, but power has almost entirely been restored.
For now, the weather is quiet in New Hampshire, but the Storm Watch 9 team is tracking a coastal storm this weekend. Its impacts on New Hampshire, if any, are not known at this time.
