The three people killed in a small plane crash in Bath Township, Michigan, on Thursday evening have been "presumptively identified," according to a medical official.

Police noted that these are not positive identifications, as DNA testing is required and will take several weeks.

The crash occurred east of the runway at Erie Airport and involved only a single plane. Mountain View Fire Rescue provided an update on Sunday evening that the plane had two occupants during the crash. The status of the two is not reported. Mountain View Fire Rescue and Erie police are at the site of the crash.
