Three people are dead including the suspect and three were injured after a shooting took place near an airport and church in Lexington on Sunday, July 13.

Former Lexington Police Chief Anthany Beatty said from the outside looking in, the agencies responded to the Bluegrass Airport and Richmond Road Baptist Church scenes in textbook fashion.

Two women were killed, and three others, including a Kentucky State Trooper, were injured after a suspect shot at the officer and fled to the Richmond Road Baptist Church, Kentucky authorities said on Sunday. Police have confirmed that the suspect is also dead.
