It started with a fairly innocuous comment from Lions offensive coordinator John Morton. After praising the Browns’ defense in his first few responses to media questions, he was asked about the Browns’ run defense. It was at that point that he flexed his confidence in Detroit’s own running game.
After a field goal by kicker Andre Szmyt and a touchdown by Quinshon Judkins allowed the Browns to storm back into the game late in the fourth quarter, Packers kicker Brandon McManus lined up to attempt a 43-yard field goal that would have given Green Bay a 13-10 lead with 26 seconds left to play.
Aidan Hutchinson, looking like the player he was before his injury last season, was a force in Sunday's win over the Browns.
Jared Goff threw two touchdown passes to Amon-Ra St. Brown, Kalif Raymond returned a punt 65 yards for another score and the Detroit Lions beat the Cleveland Browns 34-10.
