According to the city of Carbondale, Poplar Camp Beach will open on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend.

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) - The Poplar Camp Beach at Cedar Lake will open to the public on May 24 for the season. According to the city, the beach will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
