Minecraft's The Wild Update introduced a new kind of tree called Mangrove Trees that grow differently than what players are accustomed to.

With Minecraft's 1.17 update, the first part of Caves and Cliffs, the development team at Mojang has added Azalea trees to the game, a rare variant of Oak trees that grow on grass blocks.
