A Wednesday afternoon drive on westbound Interstate 80 turned tragic near Weimar Cross Road, south of Colfax, when a single-vehicle crash left two people dead and brought traffic to a crawl as emergency crews and investigators flooded the scene.

The crash happened around 9 a.m. Tuesday

FAIRFIELD, Calif. — Three people died after a wrong-way crash on westbound Interstate 80 in Fairfield on Sunday morning, the California Highway Patrol said. CHP's Solano County division said two crashes closed the roadway east of Cordelia Weigh Station for about five hours just before 2:30 a.m.

The westbound lanes ofd I-80 are closed between the Ohio state line and Exit 4B (Route 18.760, Sharon/Hermitage) due to a crash involving a tractor trailer.

Around 2 a.m., a white Dodge Charger and a black Land Rover Discovery collided on westbound Interstate 80, east of the Cordelia Weigh Station.

HERMITAGE, Pa. (WKBN)- A semi-truck crash has shut down a portion of I-80 in Hermitage on Wednesday morning. The crash happened on I-80 westbound just past the Shenango River around 9 a.m. Lanes are closed in the area, and a tow truck has been called for the semi-truck.

The collision was followed by a second crash resulting in minor injuries.

All lanes of eastbound Interstate 80 in the Vacaville area are blocked after a deadly crash Wednesday morning.
