The Giegers live and work at the RV park next to the creek in Globe. As the water climbed quickly, their RV became surrounded, leaving them no escape.
The injured camper, a woman whom authorities did not identify, called 911 on her phone at about 12:30 a.m., telling authorities that the tree had pinned her in her tent in the Hardin Ridge Campground.
