As CBS Sports' "The NFL Today" celebrated its 50th anniversary on Sunday, original host Brent Musburger shared a story about covering the Bears back in his days at CBS Chicago.

The record number is 72, held by the 1984 Chicago Bears. Of course, it is the 1985 Bears that won Super Bowl XX and are widely considered the best defense in NFL history, but the '84 team had the same players. If the Broncos can surpass the record, which has stood for 41 years, it would be quite the achievement.
