Nearly two years after the adult-animated project was first announced, Elizabeth Banks’ The Flintstones series, titled Bedrock, is finally moving forward, with Fox giving it an official pilot order.

The film follows Fred Flintstone (John Goodman), a working-class quarry worker, who unwittingly becomes involved in a corporate scam perpetrated by his boss, Cliff Vandercave (Kyle MacLachlan).
