About 4,000 protesters gathered Saturday at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton for the second "No Kings Day" protest, one of three in San Joaquin County scheduled for the weekend.

Two teenagers were shot in Stockton’s Civic District early Saturday morning. The 17 and 18-year-old boys were in the 1300 block of North Lincoln Street at about 2 a.m. when they were both shot, according to the Stockton Police Department. They were taken to a hospital to be treated for their injuries, and both were expected to survive.

The carjacking was reported at about 8:55 a.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of Country Club Boulevard, where the 26-year-old victim was approached by a male suspect who pointed a firearm at her and demanded her property, Stockton police said.
