Avianca, the Colombian airline, says it will add direct daily service to Managua, Nicaragua, from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport starting in early May.

Avianca operates multiple daily frequencies between MGA and MIA.

Avianca will launch a new direct flight between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Managua, Nicaragua. The Colombian airline announced Tuesday that the route is set to begin on May 10. It will operate daily trips using Airbus A320 aircraft, which can accommodate up to 180 passengers.

Avianca will launch a new route between Managua and Fort Lauderdale on May 10, 2025. Flight AV446 will depart from Managua at 10:00 a.m. local time and arrive in Fort Lauderdale at 2:35 p.m. The return flight, AV447, will depart from Fort Lauderdale at 4:40 p.m. local time and return to Managua.
