TOKYO (AP) — Japanese video-game maker Nintendo on Thursday reported a 43% decline in profit for the fiscal year through March, but promised a turnaround as its Switch console upgrade goes on sale in June.

Nintendo has projected sales of its highly anticipated Switch 2 console will reach 15 million units by the end of next March.

The Nintendo Switch 2 price could still rise, according to Nintendo's president, who says the company is working "quickly" to beat any potential tariff-related hikes.
