It’s Kia EV Day, and all those who celebrate are excited, confused, and arguing. The brand held an event in Tarragona, Spain, last week to unveil a series of new electric vehicles, only one of which is certain to come to the U.S. Thankfully, it’s the most interesting one.

Kia has officially launched the EV4, its first electric sedan and hatchback, at the 2025 Kia EV Day in Tarragona, Spain. The company first unveiled the EV4 as a concept at CES last year, along with several other models.

Following the success of Kia's EV6 crossover and EV9 three-row electric machines, the Korean brand is filling out the lower end of its electric vehicle lineup with the new smaller E-GMP platform EV4 sedan.

The super-compact EV2 concept has a lot going for it: city dimensions, coach doors, and high-tech seats. However, the EV2 is not headed to America, at least for now. The same goes for the modular PV5, which is part of Kia's PBV (platform beyond vehicle) platform. Kia boss Ho Sung Song offered some hints that this could change in the future.

KIA showcased its first fully electric commercial vehicle as it revealed its plans to broaden the scope of its zero emissions models at a recent EV Day event.
