The 76-year-old All Night Long performer had to deal with a trespasser at his Beverly Hills estate shortly after midnight on Saturday morning. The summer of 2025 has been marred by break-ins in Los Angeles's most prestigious zip code. A series of other A-List celebrities have had their homes invaded by criminals.

Authorities have arrested one suspect believed to be linked to a recent break-in at the Beverly Hills home of music legend Lionel Richie.

TMZ reports that the Beverly Hills Police Department received a radio call about a residential burglary at a home owned by Richie in the early morning hours of Friday (Aug. 22). Richie was home at the time of the incident, but the suspect was scared off due to the singer's security system. He left without stealing anything from the property.
