A person familiar with the agreement says the Baltimore Orioles have reached a long-term deal with rookie catcher Samuel Basallo.
Five days after making his MLB debut, Samuel Basallo has reportedly signed a long-term contract extension with the Baltimore Orioles.
Basallo will play everyday but will be the No. 2 catcher behind Adley Rutschman while also seeing time at first base and DH.
