Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr urged his team to play with desperation in Game 5 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. They are one loss away from a second-round exit because they’ve been struggling without star guard Stephen Curry.

Steph Curry was once again unavailable to play thanks to the hamstring injury he suffered in Game 1 of the series. His status going forward doesn't seem great, either, but that didn't stop a reporter from asking Steve Kerr a hypothetical question about Curry's possible return.

They have not reached triple-digit points yet in a single game, and when Jimmy Butler has had to leave the floor for rest, their offensive rating falls to an impossibly low 79.3. Steve Kerr acknowledged all of this after Game 3.

He got ample support from Julius Randle, who had a game-high 31 points, and Rudy Gobert, who finished with a double-double of 10 points and 13 rebounds. When asked about the 23-year-old Edwards after the game, Warriors coach Steve Kerr was generous with his assessment.
