The top 2024 draft pick hit his first spring training home run on Tuesday, the first of what the organization hopes will be many in a Cleveland uniform.

Here are the top five prospects to watch in Cleveland Guardians spring training camp for 2025, including recent No. 1 overall pick Travis Bazzana.

Where there’s mystery, though, there’s intrigue. And there’s plenty of that throughout Cleveland’s roster, not just in the rotation.

Cleveland's top prospect absolutely crushed his first homer in the eighth inning on Tuesday. Statcast tracked the ball's exit velocity of 107.6 mph off the bat and estimated that it traveled 443 feet. Bazzana also recorded two walks in the game, showing that he's getting more comfortable in the box.

The Guardians, who drop to 1-3 this Spring, return to action on Wednesday against the Texas Rangers at Goodyear Ball Park. The first pitch is slated for 3:05 p.m. Gavin Williams will make the start for Cleveland against Nathan Eovaldi of Texas.

Travis Bazzana was the No. 1 overall draft selection only last summer. As he opens his first spring training camp, he's focused on his defense.
