AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Officials with Nexstar Media Group, Inc. announced that it has reached a deal with Altice/Optimum. According to Nexstar, KAMR stations are restored to their Optimum platform and all messaging has been removed. Nexstar added that it thanks its customers for their patience while they worked through that agreement.

A bitter battle over carriage fees had ended after less than one week. Nexstar and Altice USA today reached a comprehensive partnership agreement and all Nexstar programming has been restored.

The dispute could force Optimum to drop dozens of Nexstar-owned local TV stations across the country, as well as cable network NewsNation.
