While much has changed in WWE 2K25, from better graphics to intergender matches, the method of unlocking characters is still the same. The unlockable superstars are scattered throughout different modes of the game, and you’ll have to grind them if you want to unlock everything. Of course, those rewards can come in the shape of certain unlockables, but you'll also be rewarded by MyRise having plenty of nods and winks to previous MyRise stories. If you were invested in WWE 2K24's Unleashed or Undisputed, you'll run into several familiar faces and places in WWE 2K25.

While there are some newly-introduced features, such as The Island, most of the game remains intact from 2K24.
