The New York Yankees reached the World Series for the 41st time in franchise history in the 2024 season. However, the Bronx Bombers failed to extend their MLB-leading title total of 27 as the Los Angeles Dodgers bested New York in a gentleman’s sweep,

Yankees manager Aaron Boone says he doesn’t want his players to behave in the same manner as some Dodgers players did after L.A. beat N.Y. in the World Series.

With support from owner Hal Steinbrenner and GM Brian Cashman, it appears likely that the Yankees will extend Boone before Opening Day.
