Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese each returned to their former college arenas for WNBA preseason action — but one game had a bit more buzz than the other.

The two players faced off in college most famously during the 2023 NCAA national championship game, where Reese’s LSU Tigers defeated Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes, 102-85. Reese finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds and five assists and was named the NCAA Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.

The WNBA star's mom, Angel Webb Reese, penned a pointed post on X after her daughter made her return to LSU's arena for a Chicago Sky preseason game against the Brazilian national team on Friday, May 2.
