Two American tourists shared their near-death experience after surviving a shark attack while swimming at a luxe Bahamas resort during their winter retreat to warm weather.

An American tourist thought she was “going to die” after a shark attacked her and her friend as they went swimming in a terrifying incident during their Bahamas vacation — and both have no plans to return to the water anytime soon.

The Royal Bahamas Police Force said two American women were bitten by a shark while touring the country's Bimini district.
