Two Southwest Airlines flight attendants were hurt after pilots were alerted to another aircraft in the area when ascending from Burbank Airport.
A person on the flight said it “dove aggressively” and that people flew out of their seats. The flight landed safely at its destination, Las Vegas.
Passengers aboard a Southwest Airlines jet from Burbank to Las Vegas said their pilot had to “aggressively” dive to avoid a midair collision with another plane shortly after takeoff on Friday afternoon.
One person on the flight said on social media that some passengers “flew out of their seats and bumped heads on the ceiling.”
