James joined Michael Jordan in becoming one of two players in NBA history to score 40 or more points in a game at age 40 or older, as James scored 42 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and dished out eight assists in the victory.

Age is more than just a number to LeBron James. It’s also a target. The 40-year-old James became the oldest player to score 40 points in an NBA game when he put up a season-high 42 in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 120-112 victory over the Golden State Warriors.
