Fireworks show airs live Friday on NBC and Peacock featuring live performances from the Jonas Brother and Lenny Kravitz.

The biggest celebration in the area was the Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks show. The 25-minute display lit up the sky over the East River, and with the Brooklyn Bridge as the backdrop, it was truly a spectacular sight witnessed by hundreds of thousands of spectators.

The 49th Independence Day Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks special will air a spectacular fireworks show on Friday, July 4. The special will be hosted by Ariana DeBose live from the Brooklyn Bridge in NYC and will air at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
