There was a lot of drama at NFL Honors on Thursday and most of that came from the MVP race. In one of the closest votes of the night, Josh Allen ended up taking home the award after edging out Lamar Jackson.

ESPN's Dan Orlovsky was among the many who split their votes for MVP and First-team All-Pro between quarterbacks Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson—a phenomenon that has caused some confusion in the NFL world.

Allen became everything the Bills could have dreamed of. And now Allen is an MVP, beating out Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson to win his first NFL MVP award, which was given out at Thursday's NFL Honors show. He's the third Bills player to win the award, joining Thurman Thomas in 1991 and O.J. Simpson in 1973.
