Cowboys owner Jerry Jones loves to talk about his team, because the more he talks about the Cowboys, the more the media talks about the Cowboys. That made his decision to not talk at all during the Scouting Combine even more confusing.

Stephen Jones, the club’s chief operating officer and co-owner, has spoken from Indianapolis and said the Cowboys “ will be selectively strategic and aggressive ” in their approach. New head coach Brian Schottenheimer has also spoken publicly.

Jerry Jones typically has plenty to say, so NFL fans don't know what to make of him staying mum at the NFL Scouting Combine. According to The Athletic's Jon Machota, Jones called off a bus interview he traditionally holds with reporters at the annual pre-draft event.
