GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Week 6 once marked a milestone in Michigan’s high school football season, as the first set of playoff tickets were punched by teams earning their sixth win.

As the Cardinals traveled to Pittsburgh to take on the Panthers, Louisville quarterback Miller Moss threw a pick-six to Pitt linebacker Rasheem Biles in the first quarter. The play was a big moment for the Panthers, but what ensued afterward ended up giving Louisville a bit of an edge.

In between the pick-sixes, the Nighthawks' offense rolled in the first half with touchdown runs by Luke Gagnon (2 yards) and Cole Stockwell (14 yards), and a touchdown pass from Marcus Gerace to Travis Rekos for 35 yards.

Kaden Smith returned an interception for the go-ahead touchdown, highlighting Eastern Kentucky’s 27-7 victory over Nicholls.
