Masahiro Sakurai is set to give an in-depth presentation on Kirby Air Riders in Nintendo’s next Direct, but what the other major Switch 2 exclusive?

Last week, Super Smash Bros. creator and father of Kirby, Masahiro Sakurai, said that we should be finally seeing some gameplay from his upcoming Switch 2 racing game, Kirby Air Riders, "soon." By soon I assumed that meant in an upcoming Nintendo Direct in September when Nintendo typically holds one, but turns out it's even sooner than that.

Nintendo held two online presentations and Directs last month, Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase and an Indie World presentation. This month's show will focus on one of the company's more obscure superstars: Kirby. It's been awhile since the we got a brand new game focused on the pink puff.
