Labour is down one from the week before to 24%, while the Tories are unchanged on 21% in the poll of 2,686 British adults carried out on Wednesday. It comes on a week that has seen Reform at the centre of a civil war after Great Yarmouth MP Mr Lowe was suspended over allegations about his conduct, which he denies.

Tech tycoon Elon Musk is considering backing a rival to Reform UK led by Rupert Lowe, it has emerged. Musk, who briefly flirted with bankrolling Farage's populist party, suddenly took aim at the Clacton MP after the pair sparred over ex-English Defence League leader Tommy Robinson.

T HE PAST few months have largely been good ones for Nigel Farage and Reform UK, the right-wing party he leads. Having won 14% of the vote, and five seats, in the general election last July, the party has since flourished as Labour has dithered in government and the Conservatives have floundered in opposition.
