Just a day after the D.C. Council approved the proposed new stadium deal at the old RFK Stadium campus on the first of two votes needed, people living a short walk from the campus told 7News how they're feeling about the Washington Commanders getting one step closer to being their new neighbors.

D.C. mayor Muriel Bowser, who has been leading that push, celebrated the news.
