Three Anderson County deputies are being honored for their heroic actions that saved the life of a three-year-old.

The deputies helped save Cpl. Lucas Watts after he was shot in the head during a traffic stop in November 2023 and apprehended the suspect.

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said a suspect is in custody following a stand off in Belton on Wednesday night.
