Sue Bird is one of the most iconic figures in WNBA history. Bird played her entire 21-year WNBA career with the Seattle Storm, notching 13 All-Star selections and four WNBA championship titles. The Storm will unveil a bronze statue of Bird outside of Climate Pledge Arena on Sunday.

In a ceremony before the Seattle Storm hosted the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday, legendary former guard Sue Bird became the first WNBA player honored by her franchise with a statue outside of Climate Pledge Arena.

The Seattle Storm unveiled a statue of longtime point guard and 13-time all-star Sue Bird outside of Climate Pledge Arena over the weekend, making her the first player in WNBA history to have a statue outside of a team's home arena.
