Dec 31, 2024 · So yeah I hope they do get onto it in the first year itself. I mean oddly enough they were the first to drop 83" OLED from LG Display even before LG themselves. But now as SAMSUNG is set to have 83" QD-OLED model in their lineup. I think SONY will follow suit and have 83" QD-OLED model in their lineup as well.

Nov 27, 2024 · Recently purchased my first OLED, a 2024 Panasonic Z95A. Before that I had a 2015 Panasonic IPS LCD. I have had the OLED for about a month now and have severe eye strain / pain. I also have constant light patches in my vision, as if I had been staring into the sun. I had no problems with my previous IPS TV.

Nov 25, 2024 · Currently the 88" OLED's only exist with the 8k resolution models. The TV's sold in Asia are worlds beyond what we get here in the west. They get 20k+ dimming zones on their MiniLED's, even the 85", and better quality control on OLED in general. Perhaps long travel distances damages models, but QA seems to be an issue for a lot of OLED's above 77".
